Atterdag Village of Solvang is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, offering our residents independent, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care. We currently have the following Part-Time position open on our team:

Marketing Assistant to work in our Administration office.

Requirements:

  • Must pass state required physical, and TB test.
  • Must be fingerprinted and free of criminal convictions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, receive written and oral instructions and possess good interaction skills.
  • Must adhere to department dress code.
  • Must be able to safely perform essential job functions with or without reasonable.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the Marketing Director implement Marketing Plan for all Solvang Lutheran Home, Inc. entities.
  • Work with Marketing Director to maintain occupancy goals.
  • In coordination with Marketing Director update and maintain website and Facebook account and other social media.
  • Under the direction of the Marketing Director write and produce marketing materials.
  • Give tours of campus including all levels of care, apartments, and common areas, and follow-up after tours.
  • Assist with community outreach and fundraising campaigns.
  • Track potential residents, log information calls into database software, and keep track of prospective resident visits, questions, and accept applications, etc.
  • Must be available for weekends and holidays.
  • Front Desk duties to include answering phones, assisting residents and guests, mail distribution, guest registration, etc.
  • Document concerns and issues, problem solve if appropriate to concern.
  • Responsible for proper handling of confidential information regarding residents and prospective residents.
  • Attend staff meetings, in-services as required, make reports, and maintain files as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards including maintaining administrative records as required by facility policies as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Performs other tasks as required.

Job Type: Part-Time (24 hours per week)

Salary: $28.00 per hour starting
