Human Resources Director, Full-time: Reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies, initiatives and systems in line with our business goals. Develops and oversees programs that include employee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and development, retention and employee/employer relationships. Leads the company compliance and regulatory concerns for all labor, legal and government requirements. Manages employee engagement and the development of programs that support employee satisfaction.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR leadership experience at the director level including employee supervision.



Cook, Full-time: Cook position prepares meals according to menu cycles; monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning. This person reports directly to the Nutrition Services Director.

Environmental Services

Environmental Services Representative,  Full-Time: Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control practices. Environmental Services duties will vary according to the work location and may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, floors, carpets, windows and furniture. This position may also include cleaning outside areas and participating in setup for events and activities. Prior experience is preferred.



Admission Coordinator & Infection Preventionist, Full-time, Tuesday-Saturday Under the direction of the DON, Admission Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (AC/IP) will assist with the ultimate responsibility for admission coordination plans for the total care of each resident to ensure compliance with physicians’ orders, and State and Federal regulations. Provides back-up and support to licensed staff in contacts with physicians, staff and family regarding resident’s needs, facility policies, government regulations and rendering coordination of care by nursing personnel. The (AC/IP) is also responsible for the implementation and follow through of the Infection Prevention and Quality Assurance Program.

Under the direction of the DON, the AC/IP is responsible for the admission/discharge planning of the residents

Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse, Full-Time, Nights and Evenings: As part of the care team and a patient advocate, the LVN/RN assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients in the skilled nurse setting.  Responsible for ensuring continuity of care by providing direct care as well as through supervising the care provided by the Certified Nursing Assistants and other support staff members.

 Health Aides, Full-Time and Part-Time:  Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, medications and social activities. Experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar experience is preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Full-Time :  Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, and social activities. New grads welcomed.

Activity Assistant, Part-time:  Activities assistant will carry out the activities that they or superiors organize. They explain rules of the activity and teach residents as needed. Then, they organize and set out equipment and supplies and supervise the activities to increase enjoyment and prevent injury. They also spend individual time with residents to help them be active and to modify activities to suit individual capabilities. They also safeguard and account for residents when taking them on field trips and other activities outside the facility.

Unit Coordinator, Full-time: Atterdag Village of Solvang is a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Our team works together to provide the highest qualify of care to our residents and a rewarding work environment for our employees. We have an immediate opening for a Unit Coordinator in our skilled nursing setting.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining census and assignment documentation, answering phones and directing calls as appropriate in a courteous and professional manner. Assisting staff and residents with scheduling of campus events, medical referrals and beauty shop appointments.

Must have computer and phone skills, organizational skills and ability to muti-task. Hours are 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday-Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday.
