Administration

Accounting Associate, Part-time: Great opportunity for a part-time (24-hour per week) benefit-eligible position supporting the office operations of a multi-level senior living community.  Under the direction of the Finance/Office Manager, the Accounting Associate assists with accounts payable and receivables and other accounting support functions.  Will also perform general administrative tasks and assist with providing administrative office support.

Must have knowledge of accounting procedures with a minimum of one to two years of prior accounting experience preferred.  Position requires proficiency using Microsoft with an emphasis on Excel and database operations as well as excellent organizational skills.  High school education or equivalent is required.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working with seniors.

Nutrition

Dining Room Supervisor, Full-time: Reporting to the Director of Nutrition Services, the Dining Room Supervisor is accountable to manage all aspects of the dining service through effective planning, direction and control to meet the dining needs of the residents.

Supervises dining room staff, creates staffing schedules, provides guidance to ensures all tasks are completed in a safe manner, evaluates, counsels, and ensures all AVS policies are explained and followed.  Supervises and assists dining room staff in setting up and tearing down dining room, serving food and beverages and restocking supplies at scheduled meals, private parties and catered events.  Ensures dining room staff provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, supervisors and co-workers.

Responsible for organization of all on-site catered events to include the ordering of supplies, promotional materials, decorating the dining room, proper staffing to ensure set up, service and cleanup is accomplished in a timely manner.

 

Waitstaff/Server, Full-time: Waitstaff position provides customer service in Nutrition Service areas of all facilities, Atterdag Village of Solvang, Atterdag Assisted Living, Atterdag Memory Care, and Atterdag Care Center as needed. This person reports directly to the Dining Room Supervisor and is also directed by the Nutrition Services Director.

Environmental Services

Environmental Services Representative,  Part-Time: Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control practices. Environmental Services duties will vary according to the work location and may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, floors, carpets, windows and furniture. This position may also include cleaning outside areas and participating in setup for events and activities. Prior experience is preferred.

 

Nursing​

Clinical Coordinator-RN-Full time: Oversee clinical services for our Independent Living residents and coordinate with Assisted Living and Personal Care leadership to ensure residents needs and professional standards are met across the organization.  This position also provides nursing support in our Atterdag Care Center (SNF) and includes weekend rotation.  Duties include performing pre-placement assessments, daily rounding with residents who require health supervision, medication management and supervision, determining the need for medical intervention, developing treatment orders as needed.

Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse, Full-Time, Nights and Evenings: As part of the care team and a patient advocate, the LVN/RN assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients in the skilled nurse setting.  Responsible for ensuring continuity of care by providing direct care as well as through supervising the care provided by the Certified Nursing Assistants and other support staff members.

  Health Aides, Full-Time and Part-Time:  Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, medications and social activities. Experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar experience is preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Full-Time :  Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, and social activities. New grads welcomed.

Activity Assistant, Full-time & Part-time:  Activities assistant will carry out the activities that they or superiors organize. They explain rules of the activity and teach residents as needed. Then, they organize and set out equipment and supplies and supervise the activities to increase enjoyment and prevent injury. They also spend individual time with residents to help them be active and to modify activities to suit individual capabilities. They also safeguard and account for residents when taking them on field trips and other activities outside the facility.
