Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Full-Time, Days, Evenings, and NOC: As part of the care team and a patient advocate, the LVN assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients in the skilled nurse setting. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care by providing direct care as well as through supervising the care provided by the Certified Nursing Assistants and other support staff members. $8,000 sign on bonus ($2,000 at sign on, $3,000 at 90 days, $3,000 at 1 year)
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Full-Time : Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, and social activities. New grads welcomed. $3,000 sign on bonus ($1,000 at sign on, $1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 1 year)
Admission Coordinator & Infection Preventionist, Full-Time, Tuesday – Saturday Under the direction of the DON, Admission Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (AC/IP) will assist with the ultimate responsibility for admission coordination plans for the total care of each resident to ensure compliance with physicians’ orders, and State and Federal regulations. Provides back-up and support to licensed staff in contacts with physicians, staff and family regarding resident’s needs, facility policies, government regulations and rendering coordination of care by nursing personnel. The (AC/IP) is also responsible for the implementation and follow through of the Infection Prevention and Quality Assurance Program. Under the direction of the DON, the AC/IP is responsible for the admission/discharge planning of the residents
Health Aides, Full-Time and Part-Time: Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, medications and social activities. Experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar experience is preferred.
Activities Coordinator, Full-time: Communicates daily planned activities to residents and facilitates resident participation. Transports residents to and from activity locations, which may include driving vehicles and golf carts. Assist residents while in activity to ensure their highest participation level. Monitors residents for limitations and distress to prevent discomfort and/or injury. Keeps activity logs and communicates assessment of residents to Memory Care Director and Medical Staff to ensure each resident’s needs are met. Assists in the recruitment, training, orientation and scheduling of volunteers and outside groups who perform or provide services. Assists Memory Care Director in organizing and publishing resident activities calendar. Attends meetings and in-services as required. Follows all safety, security, infection control and hazardous materials policies and procedures.
Activities Assistant/Health Aide, Full-Time: 2 days Activities/ 3 days Health Aide. Activities Assistant will carry out the activities that they or superiors organize. They explain rules of the activity and teach residents as needed. Then, they organize and set out equipment and supplies and supervise the activities to increase enjoyment and prevent injury. They also spend individual time with residents to help them be active and to modify activities to suit individual capabilities. Health Aide provides support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, medications and social activities.
Cook, Full-Time: Cook position prepares meals according to menu cycles; monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning. This person reports directly to the Nutrition Services Director.
Waitstaff/Server, Full-Time: Waitstaff position provides customer service in Nutrition Service areas of all facilities, Atterdag Village of Solvang, Atterdag Assisted Living, Atterdag Memory Care, and Atterdag Care Center as needed. This person reports directly to the Dining Room Supervisor and is also directed by the Nutrition Services Director.
Environmental Services Representative, Full-Time: Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control practices. Environmental Services duties will vary according to the work location and may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, floors, carpets, windows and furniture. This position may also include cleaning outside areas and participating in setup for events and activities. Prior experience is preferred.
