Nursing

Health Aides-  Full and Part time Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, medications and social activities. Experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar experience is preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA),Full Time and Part time   Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, and social activities. New grads welcome,

Licensed Vocational Nurse  –  If you are an LVN and are interested in working at our Skilled Nursing Facility please contact us or submit your resume or application.

Health Aide/Activities Assistant Full Time  – position in the Atterdag Personal Care/Adult Day Care program for a person to assist with daily activities and the required ongoing needs of the residents or Day Care participants as well as assisting with the daily routine of Health Aide duties. Experience as a Health Aide or other similar background preferred.

Nutrition Services

Cook/Prep Cook –  Full Time  –  Food preparation to include preparing and cooking food for residents and plating hot food according to specific diets. Also responsible for a variety of activities related to maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas and equipment. This is a full-time position with varying shifts including weekends. Must be professional, have a team player attitude and be able to provide customer service that ensures resident satisfaction. Ability to communicate effectively in English and good interaction skills are required. Prefer experience cooking in a kitchen that is fast paced, high volume or institutional setting.

Waitstaff – Full Time

Provides customer service in Nutrition Service areas of all facilities, Atterdag Village of Solvang, Atterdag Assisted Living, Atterdag Memory Care, and Atterdag Care Center as needed. This person reports directly to the Dining Room Supervisor and is also directed by the Nutrition Services Director.

Administration

Human Resources Associate/Recruiter Part Time

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, coordinates with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies for filling vacant and approved positions. Creates and supports sources for attracting qualified applicants and utilizes current methods and techniques.  Screens applicants and tracks all applicant data. Coordinates the hiring process for all new hires and explains paperwork and benefit programs to newly hired employees and facilitates enrollment.

This position requires a minimum of two years of experience working in human resources with healthcare experience preferred. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and detail-oriented and be proficient using MSWord and Excel.  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to utilize technology and contemporary methods for recruiting and hiring.

This is a new part-time and benefit-eligible position working in the Human Resources department of Atterdag Village of Solvang. In addition to recruiting and coordinating new hires, this position will participate in other HR activities as needed.
